Crystal and Chris

I showed up for the groomsmen getting ready shots and some of the groomsmen were still drunk from the night before. I secretly approve of this. As they were getting undressed (but before they were getting dressed), they were dancing on the counter tops in the kitchen. I secretly approve of this as well. One of the groomsmen kept asking me if they were the wildest groomsmen I had ever had and asking for stories about other wild weddings. Sorry, telling tales from other weddings would be breaking the sacred groomsmen/photographer confidentiality. Unless they are tales of still-drunk, near naked groomsmen dancing on the furniture; those stories are fair game. 😉

Lovely wedding; super cute flower girl. Really nice and fun couple to work with. Ceremony and reception at Sally Tomatoes in Rohnert Park, California.

Gotta love a beach wedding. Not only do I get to make some great photos, but running around in the sand gives me a great workout! Add in flip flops for the groomsmen and cowboy boots for the bridesmaids and you get a wedding to remember. Ceremony and reception at Restorante Portofino in Pacifica, California.

Erin and Johannes

Which is better? Photographing a wedding at a winery or photographing a wedding in a redwood grove? How about both! Yuching got a chance to practice her German on this one (most of Johannes’ family flew in from Germany for the ceremony). Really great couple, which always makes my job all that much more rewarding.

Angeli and Bobbie

What a wedding! Beautiful ceremony location, horse-drawn carriage, a red carpet for the guests to walk down, and both the bride and the groom planned surprise songs to sing to each other! Ceremony and reception at Crystal Springs Golf Course in Burlingame, California.

Hyojeong and Amit

Hurray! an Indian Ceremony! Love love love the colors for Indian weddings! Hyojeong is Korean and Amit is Indian. They did a Korean ceremony in Korea for her family, and this was the Hindu ceremony at the Decathlon Club in Santa Clara, California. Great couple and — I have to say — the best food I’ve had at any wedding to date (except my own wedding, of course 😉 )

Tracy and Jason

The best weddings for me are always the ones where the couple is so clearly in love with each other. Such was the case with Tracy and Jason. Ceremony and reception at the Bennett Valley Golf Course in Santa Rosa, California.
